EAT
The Boozy Pig is a place in Tampa we have been trying to get to since the spring. We met up with one of our patrons, John Schroeder, and had brunch there. Steak Frites, a Breakfast Cuban, Charcuterie, and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes… there is something for everyone from sweet to savory! We had leftovers fit for a king, but we had to sample multiple items, and they were all full of mouthwatering goodness you have to try! We can’t wait to get back to this place again. Their staff is so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is rustic and authentic. The Boozy Pig is a winner if you are visiting the Tampa area.
DRINK
The Boozy Pig has a fantastic Cafe Con Leche. We enjoyed it so much with our brunch items. You can order this or orange juice and bring your own alcohol to put in these items, if you wish! It’s BYOA!
We brought the bourbon that Dana selected to celebrate the end of the #75Hard challenge with, Iron Smoke Casket Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey to enjoy in our Cafe Con Leche. It was a recommendation from one of his coworkers that did not disappoint!
THAT’S A WRAP!
Don’t forget the virtual race that is near and dear to our hearts that we talked about last week! . We Love Truckers (Rob Nadeau Memorial) Virtual Race. It is a virtual race of a variety of distances honoring the life of one of our own lost too soon, Rob Nadeau. It supports organizations that he wanted to highlight and help, St. Christopher's Trucker Relief Fund and Koch Trucking. These organizations work to support and show appreciation for many Truck Drivers across the United States. We will be running our miles during Truck Driver Appreciation Week (September 12 - September 18), which culminates in Rob’s birthday on the 18th.
