RED Episode #90: Lessons from our Chat with Marathon Marko
RED Episode #90: Lessons from our Chat with Marathon Marko
RUN
Last week, we interviewed Marko Cheseto. He is the current world-record holder for double amputees in the marathon distance. We were lucky enough to meet him when he spoke at the Anchorage RunFest in August 2019. He earned this title at the Boston Marathon in April 2019 and then broke his own record again at Chicago in October 2019. There were so many nuggets of wisdom that apply to life and running. We decided to discuss those nuggets and now that Dana, my co-host, has returned, we chat about how these gems apply to life and to running.

EAT
It’s a preview week! Since it was a training week, we are looking ahead to the great food in Atlanta. We will go to one of Dana’s old college haunts, The Highlander. We are also looking forward to Bantam Pub, a recommendation from one of our friends of the show!
DRINK
New Realm Brewing is a place we have passed each year on the race course and we are finally checking it out! They have food and original beers that are tempting us to go right after we finish the race! Scofflaw Brewing Company has some cleverly named beer that we can’t wait to sneak into our trip!
