Episode 35: Flashback to Incredibles Virtual 5K at Disney Springs

It’s a FLASHBACK Episode!

RUN

In June, we started the Run Disney Virtual Running Shorts Race Series.  This is an Incredibles-themed series of 5ks this summer.  Complete one in June, July, and August plus get a bonus medal.  While you can do a virtual race anywhere, we heard about the Bourbon Experience at Disney Springs during the months of May and June. 

EAT

While we were there, we discovered that Disney Springs had special pairings at various restaurants during this experience.  While we made several stops, our first is featured in this episode and it is one of our favorites, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ ! Fried chicken sliders with hot honey on homemade cheddar biscuits!  You have got to go!

DRINK

While we were there, we tried the Basil Hayden’s Mint Julep. It had Basil Hayden’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Simple Syrup, and mint. Simple, refreshing, and delicious...dare I say addictive!
